Tour Highlights;
Sankei-en Garden: Sankei-en is a stroll--type garden full of masterpieces of architecture. Hara Tomitaro, a silk merchant, created the garden in the image of the Nara countryside. He opened the garden to the public in 1906. Sankei-en evolved as Hara scoured ancient capitals for buildings.
Motomachi Shopping Street: Located in proximity to China town on the other side of the O-oka River, this street is a shopper"s paradise in Yokohama and is lined with many chic and fashionable clothing shops, interior goods stores, accessory shops, famous restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries

Tour Highlights;
Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine: Founded at its present location by Yoritomo Minamoto in 1180, it remains one of the most popular shrines in the Kanto region. The present buildings date from 1828. The main hall at the top of the stairs affords a magnificent view of Kamakura along Wakamiya Oji street
Daibutsu or The Great Image of Buddha: Designated a National Treasure, it is Japan"s largest Buddhist image after Todai-ji"s in Nara. The present statue is the second at the site. The original image, carved from wood in 1243, was destroyed by a storm five years later. The present sculpture was cast in bronze around 1252.

Mt.Fuji 5th station: Mt.Fuji is a symbol for Japan and it is world famous for its beautiful shape. The Fifth Station, Mt. Fuji"s highest point accessible by motor vehicle. Situated above a sea of clouds, the Fifth Station is called "the boundary between heaven and earth."
Cruise on Lake Ashi: Enjoy a relaxing sightseeing boat on Lake Ashi, a view of mountain and refreshing breeze.
OP-2: Edo (Old Tokyo) Downtown 1 day
Tour Highlights;
Sumo Museum: The museum underlines the role of Sumo as the Japanese national sport through collecting and maintaining artifacts and supports historical studies. Facilities include more than 150 square meters of exhibition space, a library, a study and over 160 additional square meters of storage space for artifacts not on display.
Edo-Tokyo Museum: The Edo-Tokyo Museum shows how the 15th-century village of Edo grew to be Tokyo, one of the largest cities in the world. The museum, established in 1993, recounts this story of remarkable growth through life-size replicas and detailed scale models. There is a life-size reconstruction of the Kabuki Theater, and reconstructions of Edo Castle and Nihonbashi Bridge.
Sensoji Temple in Asakusa: Sensoji is the oldest and most impressive temple in Tokyo. The main hall was first built in 645 to house a tiny golden statue of Kannon, the goddess of mercy, that had been repeatedly hauled up in fishing nets despite being thrown back into the river. The temple precincts bustle with people praying, buying fortunes, shopping or sightseeing.
Imperial East Garden: This is where you'll find what's left of the central keep of old Edo Castle (the stone foundation).Take a stroll in one of the vast inner gardens of the Imperial Palace.

TOUR CONDITIONS
Tour fare includes 1) Sightseeing and transfers as shown in the itineraries, by motor coach and/or sightseeing boats on a seat-sharing basis, plus admission fees to temple, shrine etc.; 2) Meals as specified in each itinerary; 3) English-speaking guide services
APPLICATION AND PAYMENT FOR HOTEL
Participants wishing to reserve hotel accommodation and tours should apply online to reach JTB GMT no later than October 23, 2009. (Confirmation sheet will be sent by JTB GMT.)
Application should be accompanied by a remittance covering the hotel deposit (one night room charge) and/or total tour fare due JTB GMT. (The hotel deposit will be credited to your bill. All hotel expenses deducting the deposit should be paid directly to the hotel.)
No reservation will be confirmed in the absence of this payment. All payment must be in Japanese yen. If the remitter"s name is different from the participant"s name or the remittance covers more than one person, please clarify the name of each participant.

In the event of cancellation, written notification should be sent to JTB GMT. The following cancellation fees will be deducted before any refund is made.
